DIDAC Cooling Tunnels ensure controlled temperature reduction in continuous process systems. They are similar to air convention ovens, but have no heating capability. Cooling tunnels use blowers to force mechanically cooled air (to -20 F) into the tunnel while drawing heated air from the parts out the opposite end. Passing cold air over the parts results in significantly faster cooling times and more even cooling. Continuous cooling tunnels are engineered for applications in which manufacturing time can be reduced and line speed increased. Our compact design takes up a minimum amount of line space…approximately 11 feet in length. DIDAC cooling tunnels have adjustable height control for running various diameter products.
